Courtney joined Karrek as an apprentice in September 2013, completed his AAT Level 4 in 2016 and qualified as an ICAEW chartered accountant in 2022 — his entire career has been with the firm. He focuses on client relationships and building cash-flow models that help businesses run smoothly and develop.

Andrew has been a director of Karrek Accountants Limited since October 2009, and is also a director of the linked practice Karrek Financial Management. He has worked in the wider finance industry since 1981.

No. Our practice covers all areas of Cornwall, and we also have clients from across the United Kingdom. Most work is handled remotely or by email, with face-to-face meetings at the Newquay office or by video call where it helps.
With your authorisation we write to your outgoing accountant under standard professional clearance, request handover information and notify HMRC. The switch typically completes in a few weeks with no gap in service.
Our staff are trained in a wide range of financial software packages, and we provide support to clients who need help getting set up or moving between systems — including the bookkeeping and VAT records needed for Making Tax Digital.
